Do you enjoy eating here??
Long stretch of shopping district, can spend a good 1.5 to 2 hours here including dining. Variety of shops here, prices of things are affordable as well. Not a touristy place, mostly locals. People are also friendly, they encourage us to try their snacks politely, and even if we don’t buy they wave us goodbye politely also.
MoreReal shopping scene, unlike the usual global brands peddled at dotonburi / shinsaibashi. This is where locals gather at the backstreet bars & housewivea buy their meat in neat showcases. Got myself a calendar, toothpicks (tougher than ones back home haha), groceries, food etc. Its more than 1km long, in between 2 stations.
Moregreat variety & not that crowded 😁
You can spend your whole day here. I love it.
Wow! Apparently this shopping plazas / 2 km long, however, I have to say it did not feel like that. There is a huge amount of stores food be able to visit including those of the upper class with more expensive items as well as the lower class of Cheaper items as well as even used stores. The biggest problem surrounding this Marketplace is that there were just so many stores available and so many stores sold the same items over and over at different prices. So it's difficult to find the best price of something if you were looking for something specific. There is plenty of variety as well as plenty of things to eat.
MoreExtremely long shopping street that can take up to an hour to walk if you browse through all stores. High variety of shops and stylish designs
MoreQuintessential shopping arcade in Osaka. Decent prices and less crowded compared to those near Namba.
MoreFirst time be here! Many Nice food and great tourist place to go
Cool place to go when you have time and like to take a walk as a small exercise lol.
MoreNice covered shopping street with a wide selection of stores and restaurants
Very cool shopping district in Osaka. You can go to restaurants, find cheap street food and browse at unique shops!
MoreBest place to shop. Good quality clothing on sales. Variety of snacks and souvenirs. Remember to load your wallet before you go.
MoreStumbled upon here by chance. It's a lively shopping street for the local. I wouldn't come here for shopping, though. Nothing that's really for tourists. Just yukata, bags, clothes, and a bit of food.
MoreA very long shopping street Travelers here are not much. Most shops like Namba or Shinsaibashi. But there is one difference, the price here is cheaper than all other You can see cheap products all the way.
MoreSo big with so many shops!! Gave the old Japan feel
Long, but worthy of every steps you walk!
Great indoor shopping street, goes on forever and great selection of stores
There was one small restaurant along in street shopping, the soba noddles is very good!
MoreAwesome! Tons of food options, hidden gems along side streets
This is a great place to shop, you can go find cheap/cheaper deals at the drug store/beauty mart. More local people less tourist here and is least crowded here like the shopping streets at Namba/Dotonbori. You can find restaurants with affordable price. Easily accessible, take JR Temma Station and you will reach here immediately. Highly Recommended !
MoreVery crowded but you can find a lot of store here
one coffee shop 。 nice place。 HOSHINO
Very long and comfortable to walk through in compare to Shinsaibashi street as not so crowded and having much more space.
MoreIts said to be the longest shopping street in Japan at more than 2km. It has many shops selling local Japanese products as well as food. The nice thing is that it is sheltered from heat and rain. Also it is not as crowded as Dotonbori.
MoreGreat fun for tourists!
Not as crowded as Shinsaibashi shopping district. Overall, lots of food and cheaper, not branded stuff here.
MoreGreat shopping, long walk worth it.
Lots of little shops. A good variety and fairly priced. Much less tourists around.
MoreOne of the famous shopping Street of Osaka located close to Tenjinbashisuji rukchome station
MoreSuper long shopping street from tenjimbashi, temma and nishimori station. Price are cheap and items are good. Recommended for shopping at japan
MoreWide variety of food and vintage clothings! It's your one stop long street of fascinating finds! At night it's a totally different vibe as drinking bars and restaurants will open, as compared to the day time where small eateries will pop up :)
MoreOne of my FAVORITE places to walk thru... is a shotengai. They're old and unique to the area. This one has a temple/shrine nearby and the FIERCE 7 gods protecting it.
MoreFor foodie, picky drinker, Japanese second hand book seeker, reasonably-priced home goods shopper, massage seeker, Temman-gu shrine visitor, curious traveller, and simply bored people.
MoreNothing special, just a longer version of ‘Shin Sai Bashi-Suji’ with lots of pharmacies for tourists.Suggest you start from Tenjimbashisuji 6-chrome Station (exit 8) walking towards south.
MoreVery long street and some very good value things
The longest shopping street in Osaka.
A little dated tourist attractions. Things for sale are easily available elsewhere
MoreI will come and visit this place soon, coming on March 20,2020, I'm so excited😀
MoreLoved it!! Huge selection of products available. Would absolutely recommend
Nice street with lots of small shopping and food stores. It's not too hot here as it is covered. Many of the shops are all fairly priced. It is just beside the housing and culture museum and outside the metro station. Well worth a visit.
MoreWorld's longest covered shopping arcade. If you need it it's probably here. As well as reasonable prices for restaurants.
MoreFood alleys cheap and Cheerful. Good place to try a variety of different dishes. Cheaper than namba. A never ending variety of shops. Good value. Welcoming and friendly. Felt Iike a local.
MoreI suggest to visit the drug store here because it have less tourists and the price is much better than Shinsaibashi-Suji Shopping Street...
MoreVery long and nice shopping street. Not as crowded as shinsaibashi. Lots of pachinko outlets though. More local than tourists.
MoreIt was my first time to see and so fun
This market/shopping street is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Lots to see. Lots to eat. Inexpensive Sushi Belt...but good. Fun walk. Don't miss it if you're in Osaka. It's worth the trip.
MoreSells various kinds of goods. Toys, clothes, food etc
Mostly locals, shopping street with the usual fare - meds, groceries, food, clothes, etc. Located just next to Osaka Museum of Housing & Living, good to drop by for lunch after visiting the museum.
MoreIf you want to go where the locals go, this is the place. It's definitely not as packed as Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade, and the stores aren't as high end, but we were nonetheless charmed by the sheer variety of goods available. Here you'll find many local fashion brands, pharmacies and even grocery shops. There's also no shortage of places to dine in while walking down the seemingly endlessly long street.
MoreUnique shopping district with some good bargain buy if u r lucky to find it.
